About Us

Joanne & Janice would like to welcome you to the Boycott Arms, and give you a little background about ourselves, the proprietors.

Jan is 36 years of age and Jo is 46, both fully qualified and award winning chefs of 16 years experience, we began working together as a team at Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis and Squash Club in 1991, meeting up again at the Boycott Arms nine years ago.

In September when the previous landlord retired we took over the establishment in the knowledge that we could maintain the high standards we had set in the kitchen and deliver the quality home cooked food that our customers expect.

Fortunately we have been able to retain the majority of the team who worked for the previous landlord and Tom is a familiar face behind the bar, along with Daryl who provides much valued experience on Friday and Saturday nights. You will also see Grace, Joanne’s daughter, who helps out when she is not studying hard at university.

In the kitchen Dave the second chef and Hannah the trainee chef, studying for her NVQ in catering, ably fill in when we spend time front of house.

It is like one big happy family from the Chefs to the waiting staff and hopefully that sense of togetherness is reflected in the quality and service that we offer our customers.
